Dancers must qualify for the Provincial DanceDown at one of our regional events. Studios must compete the qualifying routines from the regional event. They cannot sub any routine for another.

A soloist can only compete once in their age category at the Provincial DanceDown. If a soloist qualifies at more than one regional event, they must choose 1 solo, from their qualifying solos. Soloists can not dance up into a higher age category with a subsequent solo.

A soloist must compete in the Advanced Division in order to qualify for the Provincial DanceDown.

A Soloist who wins the Provincial Champion title, may not compete again at the Provincial DanceDown as a soloist, until they have moved up into the next age category. (ie. The Junior Provincial Champion winner, cannot compete for the Provincial Title until they have moved up into the Teen age category).

Studios can compete only 1 routine for the Mini/Junior Routine of the Year and 1 routine for the Teen/Senior Routine of the Year. If a studio qualified at more than one regional event, they can choose which of the qualifying routines they wish to compete in the Provincial DanceDown.

Studios can compete a maximum of 4 routines in the Top Performance section. If a studio qualifies with more than 4 routines, they can pick which 4 they would like to compete at the Provincial DanceDown.

Studios cannot re-compete an entry that has previously competed in the Provincial DanceDown.

Top Performance routines must be registered in to the Advanced Division at their regional event to qualify for the Provincial DanceDown.

Performance Division and Adult entries do not qualify for the Provincial DanceDown.

A minimum of 10 participants in each category is required. Otherwise Evolve Dance Competition reserves the right to combine categories.

A minimum of 100 registered entries is required in order to hold the Evolve Provincial DanceDown.

Registration minimums required at each regional event, or some qualifying categories may be combined.
