ADJUDICATORS

Interested in adjudicating for Evolve Dance Competition?

We are always looking to connect with passionate, professional educators to join our adjudication team. Our ideal candidates are:

• Experienced adjudicators with prior judging experience at reputable competitions

• Active dance educators, currently teaching dancers of all ages and levels

• Well-versed in a wide range of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, musical theatre, and more!

• Strong communicators who can provide constructive, articulate, and encouraging feedback through both verbal commentary and onstage presentation

• Professional and collaborative individuals who are punctual, adaptable, and respectful in a team environment

Additional assets include:

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in dance, education, or a related field

• Teaching certifications (e.g., RAD, ADAPT, Acrobatic Arts, CDTA, ISTD, etc.)

• A background in competitive choreography, professional performance, or youth mentorship

EVENT STAFF

Interested in working behind the scenes at Evolve Dance Competition?

We’re hiring enthusiastic and reliable local staff from the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area to join our event team! Positions vary by event and may include:

• Merchandise Sales/ Front of House & Check-In

• Backstage Management

• Awards Management

• Announcing & Hosting

• General Event Assistance

While dance experience is not required, we are looking for individuals who are comfortable in a fast-paced, show-style setting. Experience in the performing arts is an asset. We are looking for team players who are professional, organized, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

While our team is based in the Vancouver area, there are opportunities to travel to support our events across Alberta and Saskatchewan. For out-of-town events, travel, lodging, and meals are provided.
