All entries will be given a score by our panel of professional adjudicators. Placements of 1st, 2nd and 3rd will also be awarded in all categories (except for the Performance Division). Every dancer receives a medal.

Impact Awards - Evolve Impact Awards are announced at every awards session. These awards are selected by the judges based on the entries that made an impact on them, and awarded each session, before the adjudicated awards.
Choreography Awards - Evolve Choreography Awards are announced at every award session. This award is selected by one judge per awards session, based on the performances from the session.

Jump Dance Convention Scholarship - One Full Tuition Jump Dance Convention Scholarship for the 2024-2025 season will be awarded at each event.

24/Seven Dance Convention Scholarship - One Full Tuition 24/Seven Dance Convention Scholarship for the 2024-2025 season will be awarded at each event.
PERIDANCE SCHOLARSHIPS - NEW YORK CITY, NY
Global Summer Dance Intensive Scholarship - $300 USD Scholarship to the Global Summer Dance intensive July 2024 in New York City. This program emphasizes contemporary forms and is tailored to push dancers both technically and artistically. Students will study a variety of genres from renowned faculty and work with fresh and upcoming choreographers in New York City. The daily schedule will include 4 classes in various styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Theater Dance, Hip Hop, Body Conditioning, and Repertoire Rehearsal. The program will culminate in a live performance at our in-house KnJ Theater.
PCDC Intensive Scholarship - $200 USD Scholarship to the Peridance Contemporary Dance Company Intensive Program August 2024 in New York City. The inaugural PCDC Intensive is a 10-day period of immersive training, creative process, and repertory performance for dancers ages 17+. Participants will study with Artistic Director Igal Perry and renowned guest faculty members from PCDC repertoire for an intimate experience grounded in PCDC’s core principles of education, creation, and collaboration. The program will include classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Improvisation, and Repertory, among others, and culminate in a performance at Peridance’s KnJ Theater.
HOUSE OF JAZZ SCHOLARSHIPS - LONDON, UK
Alchemy Academy Scholarship - $170 CAD Scholarship to Alchemy Academy: The Ultimate Jazz Convention in London, UK. Alchemy Academy a professional and transitional event designed to prepare dance artists for a career in the theatre jazz arts. It is an enlightened approach to dance education, changing the skyline of the entertainment arts by moving young artist into greatness.
Artist Development Program - $300 CAD Scholarship to the House of Jazz: Artist Development Program (HOJ ADP) in London, UK. HOJ ADP is a post graduate transitional program designed to prepare dance artists for a career in the theatre jazz arts. It is an enlightened approach to dance education, changing the skyline of the entertainment arts by moving young artist into greatness.

SOL DANCE COLLECTIVE INTENSIVE - CANADA
Dancers who are awarded a SOL Dance Collective scholarship at Evolve will receive a credit (full, half or partial) to attend one of our SOL Intensives on our 2024 SOL TOUR
Sol Dance Collective is dedicated to inspiring dancers through the transformative power of dance. Our mission is to lead dancers towards a fresh approach to movement, fostering creativity, and providing a comprehensive dance education. At SOL, dancers will engage in our Professional Faculty Intensive Program, emphasizing training, development, and growth. The program encompasses a wide array of specialized dance genres, including Creative Process, Improvisation, Yoga and Pilates, Modern Partnering, Latin, Film, and more!

Lightning Dance Elite Awards $1000 Scholarships to their Disneyland and DisneyWorld Intensive Programs. Dancers experience private workshops with Disney cast members, Q&A sessions with top industry professionals, Tour tank top, Tour jacket, Custom Lightning Elite mouse ears, 3 day park-hopper pass, Welcome reception, Character breakfast at a Disney restaurant and even more magic!

Evolve Dance Competition recognizes the Top 10 entries from the Performance Division (this includes solo, duo/trio and group/line routines all together). Competition credits are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Overall Highest Score Performance Division entries. Competition credits can be applied to entry fees for the 2025 season.

Evolve Dance Competition recognizes the Top 10 Intermediate Mini/Junior Soloists and the Intermediate Teen/Senior Soloists. Evolve presents cash awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest scoring solos. Soloists are eligible to win one cash award for their solo entries. Soloists with multiple solos will be awarded Top 10 and High Score Awards based on their highest scoring solo. **Intermediate Soloists do not qualify for the Provincial DanceDown. Soloists must be from the Advanced Division to qualify.

Top Performance by Discipline will be awarded to the highest scoring group/line routine in each discipline listed below. Routines must be from the Advanced division. Each Top Performance Award recipient will receive $100 cash! Winners in this category are also invited to compete for Performance of the Year at the Provincial DanceDown!

STUDIO SPIRIT AWARD
Evolve Dance Competition recognizes 1 studio per event that exemplifies positivity, enthusiasm, teamwork, sportsmanship and community. The studio spirit award recipient will receive $250 cash towards a pizza party!
STUDIO STANDOUT AWARDS
Every studio with a minimum of 20 entries will be awarded Studio Standout Awards. One for their highest scoring Mini/Junior Group or Line, and one for their highest scoring Teen/Senior Group or Line (as applicable). Entries must be from the Intermediate or Advanced divisions.
All Studio Standout Award recipients will be invited back to the Evolve DanceDown on the final day of competition, to re-compete for $1500 in additional cash prizes! LEARN MORE HERE
*Over $20,000 in cash and awards per event. All awards are subject to registration minimums, Evolve Dance Competition reserves the right to combine categories for overall awards.
Evolve Dance Competition reserves the right to reduce cash awards for any event with less than 500 registered entries. Events that do not meet this requirement will still be awarded cash prizes, at a 50% reduction, and/or categories may be combined for overall awards.
All cash awards, competition credits, scholarships and gift certificates will be awarded directly to the studio and are non-transferrable.
A minimum of 500 regional entries is required in order to hold the Evolve DanceDown. In the event there are less than 500 regional entries, a modified DanceDown with 2 judges may be scheduled, with a reduction in cash prizes, at the directors discretion.
