VENUE

  • Opens 1 hour before the first performance each day

  • Designated Girls, Boys and a Universal (Gender neutral/family friendly) changeroom will be provided.

CHECK-IN

  • Dancers should sign-in at the registration table on their first day to collect their event medal. You do not have to check-in each day.

  • Teachers & Studio Owners should sign-in at the registration table to receive their backstage pass and complimentary event program, while supplies last.

AUDIENCE

  • Opens 15 minutes before the first performance

  • Free Admission for the regular competition

  • NO photos or videos permitted during performances

BACKSTAGE

  • Only teachers, studio directors & dancers/performers are allowed backstage

  • No parents/guardians/audience members permitted at anytime

  • Performers must check-in 5 numbers before their routine with our Backstage Manager

  • Song & Dance Solo/Duo/Trios must check in 7 numbers before performance if they wish to be mic’d.

PROPS

  • Ample prop storage is available on site. Props are welcome to stay for the full duration of the event, and can be brought in anytime before the first routine of the day, and during any session breaks.

  • If you will be placing anything on stage prior to your routine (props, jackets, hats etc.), please be sure to inform the backstage team ahead of time.

  • If you have a prop trailer to keep on site during the event, please email dance@evolvedancecompetition.com for more information. Bylaw parking rules & fee apply.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • Please be aware that our schedule may run up to 30 minutes early. We ask that all dancers, teachers, and audience members are prepared in advance to ensure no one misses their performance or award session.

  • Evolve Dance Competition is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items in the changerooms, backstage areas, rehearsal spaces or theatre. We strongly recommend that all participants and attendees keep valuables with them at all times and label all personal belongings.

To cap off an exciting competition, we are thrilled to host the Evolve DanceDown, held on the final day of competition.*

DanceDown Finalists will re-compete for additional CASH prizes, with judge's selections for Mini/Junior and Teen/Senior DanceDown winners, based solely on the performances in this electric event! Over $30,000 in cash awards and scholarships will be presented throughout the DanceDown!
